NuttZo Chick'n Stir Fry
(whenever possible use organic and local ingredients)

Make the special sauce by dissolving the sugar in water in a small bowl. Add soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, ketchup, lemon juice and sesame oil. Mix well and refrigerate until you're ready to serve.

Combine the hot water with the hot mustard and set this aside as well. Add your desired measurement of mustard and garlic chili paste to the special sauce mixture to pour over the wraps.

Prepare the stir-fry sauce by mixing the soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar together in a small bowl.

Place cast iron pan on high heat and add 1 Tbsp of  oil. Add chick'n, garlic, onions, water chestnuts and mushrooms to the pan. Add the stir-fry sauce and sauté the mixture for a couple minutes. Put 1T of NuttZo in each lettuce "cup". Add the stir-fried chick'n mixture. Top with 1T of "special sauce."

While enjoying, close your eyes and imagine you are resting on the magnificent Great Wall.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of Morningstar Farms chick'n strips chopped
  • 1T oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup water chestnuts, minced
  • 2/3 cup mushrooms, minced
  • 3 T chopped onions chop
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 4-5 leaves butter lettuce
 Stir Fry Sauce:
  • 2T Braggs Liquid Aminos
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp rice wine vinegar
Special Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2T Braggs Liquid Aminos
  • 2T rice wine vinegar
  • 2T ketchup
  • 1T lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp sesame oil
  • 1T hot mustard
  • 2 tsp water
  • 1-2 tsp garlic and red chili paste
  • ½ cup NuttZo or NuttZo PF
